  • Improved translation accuracies on topics such as residence, consumption, telecommunications, child rearing, employment, education, and vacation, between each of the following languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Myanmar, and Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Thai speech synthesis server, formerly operated by the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) is now being operated at NICT.

  • Added names of sightseeing spots in Japan provided by “japan-guide.com,” to the dictionary. (ja, en, zh, ko)
  • Added 599 terms used in rugby provided by the Japan Rugby Football Union and the Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee, to the dictionary. (ja, en)
  • Improved English, Indonesian, and Myanmar speech recognition accuracies.
  • Fixed the issue where ordinal numbers were missing in the translation results of some of the languages, such as Italian and Portuguese.
